The Greatest Gift
The Greatest Gift
For most of us, Christmas traditions include the giving and receiving of gifts. Whether it is leaving shoes or stockings out for St Nicholas or giving boxes of food or money on 26th December, the tradition arises as we give presents to those we love or to those in need. These remind us that Christmas celebrates The Greatest Gift ever given, a gift that shows the love of God to us, in our need.
Born as a baby in Bethlehem, God in mercy and compassion gave His Son to a world He loves. Through Jesus’ life, death and resurrection we can know the love of the Father who freely offers forgiveness, life and certain hope through His Son.
To find out more about this greatest of all gifts, do join us at our services over the Christmas season and consider joining our
Alpha course that starts on January 15th.
