Music & Worship at St Andrew's
In our services we seek to facilitate an environment where people feel free to worship God in both spirit and truth. We aim to use a wide range of music across our congregations, but with particular 'leans'
-
0930 - family worship led by band + organ,
-
1115 - rich hymnody and liturgical music, supplemented with lyrical worship songs, led by an SATB choir with organ, piano & melody instruments
-
1800 - contemporary worship led by band.
-
2000 - Taize service - approximately 4 times a year on Sunday or Wednesday evenings. Quiet, contemplative music & liturgy
The music is led by a community of worship leaders, singers and other musicians who focus on a particular service. The Music Director co-ordinates these groups, with various practices and gatherings.
