We will be running the Worship Central Course on Monday evenings in May & June 2012 for our worship team (singers, musicians, sound engineers & projectionists) and anyone else who is interested. There will also be a day away in June.
Worship Central is an international movement with a vision to Encounter God, Equip the Worshipper and Empower the Local Church. The Worship Central Course is a training programme for worship teams that addresses the theological and practical questions around leading worship.
We'll meet on a Monday evenings in church at 7pm for some supper followed by an evening of worship, a talk, time for discussion and prayer, ending by 9.30pm. The day away will include lunch and will be at a venue outside Oxford. The session titles and dates will be:
- Why is worship central (May 14th)
- Encounter God (May 21st)
- Leading Worship (May 28th)
- Releasing creativity (June 11th)
- The effective team (Day Away - June 16th, 10am-4pm)
- How to play together (June 18th)
- The authentic leader (June 25th)
