Getting Started

To get the most value from our website you need to log in. Most members of the congregation were registered on the website when it was first created.

If you have NEVER logged in before, try this:

  1. Press the "Log in" link at the TOP of the screen
  2. Press "Forgotten your password?" on the login screen
  3. Use your firstname.lastname (all lowercase) as your Login Name, eg matthew.smith
  4. OR you can try entering your email address
  5. Press "Reset my Password"
  6. If we have your correct email address in the system you'll be sent an email with your new password
  7. Remember to change your password the first time you log in

If you get a message saying "No user matches that login name or email address"

  1. Call the church office to see if you are registered on the website with a different Login Name
  2. If you are not registered, go to the "Register" button on the website and follow the instructions there
  3. You'll receive an email confirming when your registration has been completed
  4. LOG IN! Browse the information on the website

I've logged in. Now what?

Have a look around. There is plenty of information on the website, see what interests you - sermons, prayer requests, upcoming events, discussions - they're all there!

As you get more familiar with the website you could try commenting on an article or discussion, or look up other members on the Address Book - maybe your neighbour is a member at church and you didn't know it!

You could check and update your profile (under the "My Area" menu item) - add a picture, if you're part of a family check that your family details are correct. By default your personal details are only visible to other logged-in members of the church. BE CAREFUL not to change this unless you really want your personal information to be visible to any visitor to the website (pretty unusual!).

Use the Search Box to look for what you want

You can search the website for information - as with any search function you may need to play with your search criteria to get the best results. For example, searching for "pray" will return a lot more information than searching for "prayer requests" or "emergency prayers" - use whatever suits your needs.

We hope you enjoy the website and find it useful.
