Building for the Future - Phase 2 now started!

GREAT NEWS! Our Phase 2 appeal has raised almost all the amount needed so the PCC has agreed that we can now instruct the architects.  Thank you for your generosity in raising a huge amount of money so swiftly. We will keep you posted.

So what is the next stage?

The Phase 2  design stage there will see extensive consultation with all groups within the church.  The process will result in a final design, with detailed costing, planning permission from the City and a faculty from the Diocese, to the point where the architects can go out to tender for construction.  Once planning permission and the faculty are obtained, a separate appeal will be made for the cost of the actual building.   

When will we start building?    

 It is impossible to say when Phase 3 will start as it depends on how long it takes to raise the necessary funds. 

I have some questions - who can I ask?

There will be a major briefing evening at some stage in the autumn at which the church can ask whatever they want to the project team (architects etc ...)
